About Carol Eland

Carol started Perennial Planning and Garden Design shortly after graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Urban Planning and Landscape Design. Thanks to her love of gardening and the environment, the company has grown from a small container-gardening business in 1993 to a company with a landscape crew and a lighting and irrigation crew. Perennial Planning is liscensed and bonded in the state of Washington. 

She has given public lectures on container gardening and shade gardens in the Seattle area. Her works have appeared in the Seattle Times' Pacific Northwest magazine, Landscape Solutions, Remodeling Magazine, and Windermere's Exceptional Properties.

Carol is a member of the Washington Assoc of Landscape Professionals, has served on the board of the Northwest Horticultural Society, and is a member of the Washington Park Arboretum, Bellevue Botanic Garden, and Seattle Garden Club.

Her many garden renovations in the Seattle area have made hundreds of clients happy and enjoying their outdoor spaces.
